DSSI's Source to Pay Services Recognized

Southfield, Michigan, May 02, 2012 -- Today, DSSI, LLC announced it was selected to the 2012 Supply & Demand Chain Executive 100 recognizing providers that assist clients in achieving supply chain excellence. This year, DSSI was selected based on its work with Safran, a French aerospace, defense, and security company.

Safran utilized DSSI's procurement infrastructure as an initial purchasing solution for its new manufacturing facility in the U.S. DSSI provided a rapid deployment of its source to pay technology, and management services to bridge the gap between start-up and stabilization of Safran's purchasing personnel, systems, and processes. The deployment included interfaces to Safran's ERP system to maintain complete purchased histories.

"DSSI did an exceptional job of providing source to pay procurement services to us which allowed Safran to purchase the materials needed to get a new production facility in the U.S. launched quickly as we got our back office processes in place," said Michaël Rigalle, General Manager and Vice President of Safran Aerospace Composites.
