Jernberg Implements Procurement Strategy through DSSI

Southfield, June 20,2006 -- DSSI LLC, a leading provider of procurement services, today announced that Jernberg Industries, Inc. signed a three-year agreement to outsource its indirect materials buy to DSSI. Jernberg, one of the largest, independent and privately held forging companies in the world, will utilize DSSI's BuyCentric® solution to implement its indirect procurement strategy.

DSSI's BuyCentric® solution will provide Jernberg with a complete purchasing infrastructure including a hosted e-procurement system (Epic™) and an efficient transactional processing engine. DSSI's professional purchasing resources will manage Jernberg's corporate-wide sourcing and supplier relationships. Jernberg will realize quantifiable cost savings, continuous cost improvement and increased purchasing process effectiveness, largely funded out of cost savings.

"Jernberg was looking for an innovative approach to its indirect materials buy. Each location was purchasing independently and we knew we could be more efficient," said Michael Keslar, vice president and general manager for Jernberg. "DSSI's solution provides us with a common purchasing system, leveraged volume and access to procurement expertise that will support Jernberg's forecasted growth."

"We are pleased to have Jernberg as a client. Jernberg's decision reflects growing recognition of the value gained through procurement business process outsourcing (BPO). DSSI's efficient process and technology as well as our multi-client aggregation and expertise is hard for any one company to beat through internal initiatives," commented Nancy DuFresne, director of business development for DSSI. "Jernberg is another example of DSSI's continued organic growth through existing client relationships."
