Committed to Supplier Diversity.

A strong diversity program helps DSSI’s business and allows us to more effectively meet the needs of the clients we serve.

DSSI is, itself, a minority certified company recognized by the Michigan Minority Supplier Development Council (MMSDC) and the Tri-State Minority Supplier Development Council (TSMSDC). As such, we have a strong commitment to supplier diversity which aligns with diversity commitments made by our clients.

At DSSI, our diversity program is not housed within a department. It is carried out by each and every one of our procurement professionals on a daily basis as they perform their strategic sourcing and procurement activities. Further, we set individual performance objectives and measure minority sourcing to ensure alignment throughout the company.

Our supplier diversity program aims to give ethnic minority-owned and woman-owned businesses a chance by encouraging open competition, business development, long term affiliations, and innovation; the elements small businesses need to grow.

We encourage minority suppliers to submit their contact information for further consideration. Click here.

DSSI recognizes minority and women-owned enterprises as those that are at least 51 percent owned and operated by minorities or women and certified as such by The National Minority Supplier Development Council (NMSDC) and The Women's Business Enterprise National Council (WBENC).
